On Tuesday, April 26th Orchestra, Theater, and Band classes all held a performance after school. Throughout the concert, the groups would rotate who was performing. The Orchestra performed several songs along with solo performances from many players. The violin, cello, and bass players all did an amazing job performing songs for the audience. The Band began performing with a group of students using trash cans as drums. Afterward, all band members played their usual instruments such as trumpets, drums, and saxophones for the rest of the concert. Several band students also played solo performances. The music department did an amazing job keeping everyone moving and excited throughout the concert.
Theater students performed excerpts from Macbeth and other plays. Throughout the performance, the lapel microphones were not working properly. But, despite the technical difficulties, the theater class prevailed through this complication and gave an excellent performance. The theater students did an amazing job memorizing their lines and portraying their characters.
Overall, the students all did an amazing job with their performances and everyone in attendance had an amazing time at the concert.
