A new payment method called Shop Pay has been added to both our Canada and US checkout. It's alongside Google Pay under Express checkout options. This update ensures that both US and CA checkouts offer a streamlined and consistent payment experience.

What is it?

Shop Pay is an accelerated checkout service offered by Shopify, designed to streamline the buying process for both customers and store owners. Shop Pay is a payment method developed by Shopify that allows customers to save their personal information for faster checkouts. This information can then be used to autofill checkout fields on future visits to the website. 

Interesting Fact!

When customers check out using Shop Pay, they are directed to the order review page. Once they authorize the purchase, they receive a six-digit code via text. This code is then entered on the checkout page to process the order. 

• First-time orders are now flowing through Shopify Checkout. It's indicated at the header of the order page below the order number in Shopify. 

• We have a direct link to view the subscription

• Refunds are processed directly through Shopify, not Recharge. 

*This is because the payment gateway is most likely Shopify Payments, not Stripe, or Braintree.
