What is a Referral Program?
PrettyLitter’s friend referral program - it allows active customers to share an offer with their friends. This is subject to the offer Terms of Service. Active customers will be considered as Advocate if they share the offer to a friend. Advocates and Friends will be able to obtain an online coupon code (“Reward”) that they can redeem with PrettyLitter.
Reward for the friend will either be:
What is the referral reward?Referral redemption is in the form of credit on the purchase in the amount of the cost of one bag of PrettyLitter ($24), and not an additional free bag. Rewards cannot be combined with other discount codes in a single order. Advocate’s Reward: The reward will be automatically applied to their next order as a form of discount. Friend’s Reward: Friend should use the coupon code/referral link on the first purchase when they subscribe.
How many friends can I refer to PrettyLitter?Advocates can only be rewarded with one friend per month.
If I refer more than one friend, do I get more than one reward? Advocates may not earn more than one (1) Reward in 30 days or more than five (5) Rewards in total. Advocates may earn only one (1) Reward per Friend, regardless of the number of purchases that his or her Friends make. PrettyLitter, in its sole discretion, may impose limits on how many Offers may be shared by an Advocate, as well as how frequently those Offers can be made, and Rewards may not be given if those limits are exceeded.
Can I choose my reward?PrettyLitter referral reward is in the form of credit to the subscription order in the amount of the cost of one bag of litter. The reward is not a free bag but a cost-off on the next order. Advocates cannot choose any other type of reward. The Offer cannot be applied to previous purchases and is not redeemable for cash.

We previously shared that our new referral offer was live for US, now it's officially live for our Canada customers, too! Any active Non-Clumping PrettyLitter subscriber can refer a friend to PrettyLitter. An Advocate cannot refer PrettyLitter to himself or to herself to earn a Reward. To qualify for a Reward, the Friend must be a new customer of PrettyLitter.
Our referral program is currently advertised and exclusive for Original Unscented PrettyLitter redemptions.
No future plans yet to expand referral redemptions or promotions to include PrettyLitter Clumping/ Scented. ❌
📣What to do?
For Scented and Clumping customers who referred a friend:
We should educate customers that our referral program is to redeem 1 bag of Original Unscented PrettyLitter for $24.
As per the Terms of Service, Rewards will be automatically applied to the next monthly subscription in the form of credit to the subscription order in the amount of the cost of one bag of litter.
As a courtesy, we do honor their successful friend referral and reward them equivalent to $24 referral reward to be applied to the next order.
Reiterate that they can only be rewarded for one friend per month.

PrettyLitter reserves the right to refuse to issue or redeem a Reward to Advocates or Friends at any time. Further, PrettyLitter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to (i) vary any and all elements of an Offer at any time without notice to You and (ii) to prevent any individual from participating in this or future promotions. What’s the Program?
PrettyLitter's Referral Program lets you, as an Advocate, share a special link with your Friends. If your Friend makes a Qualifying Purchase (their first order), both you and your Friend get a Reward in the form of a coupon code to use on PrettyLitter.How It Works:
For the Friend: They must be a new PrettyLitter customer and use the link to make their first purchase (this may have a minimum spend).
For the Advocate: You must be a PrettyLitter customer for at least 2 months to refer someone.
The Reward: Once your Friend makes their purchase, you earn a Reward that can be applied to your next PrettyLitter subscription. The reward will be the price of one bag of litter.
Limits on Rewards:
You can earn one reward per friend, but there are no more than five rewards.
You can earn a Reward once every 30 days.
Rewards cannot be combined with other discounts.
Sharing and Referrals:
You cannot refer yourself or use a different email to refer yourself.
You must tell your Friend that you’ll earn a reward if they make a purchase using your link.
Additional Rules:
PrettyLitter can refuse to issue a Reward at any time.
Rewards cannot be applied to past purchases and are not redeemable for cash.
If you start as a Friend, you’ll become an Advocate once you share your referral link with others.

“Advocate" could not refer a friend
Our Give a Bag Get a Bag option on the portal is only accessible and visible for Over 30-Day Customers.
New Customers with less than 30 days of tenure aren’t able to refer a friend just yet.
What does this mean?
Only Tenured Customers of over 30 days can refer a friend through their portal.
New Customers for less than 30 days of tenure are not yet able to refer a friend.
For any new customer who wants to refer a friend but cannot do so, loop in CS Ops: Referral Team!
🗹 We will likely still honor and approve as a courtesy provided their friend is validated.
