Course Assessment:
Assignment: 20% of final grade
Exam: 80% of final grade
There is a 3-hour SQA exam which accounts for 80% of the final award. This is split into a 40-minute multiple choice section followed by a separate 2 hour and 20-minute extended answer section
A course assessment task with an 8-hour total time limit, completed under a 2 hour write up under exam conditions, makes up the remaining 20% of the award.
