Technology Assignment (70%)
A project between 4 and 7 minutes each (audiobook, radio broadcast, sound design for film/game, multi-track recording) demonstrating skills in audio capture and creative sound manipulation. This is sent to SQA for external marking with a final deadline in February.
Understanding Music paper
Sat in May with standard SQA Diet (30%) – assessing knowledge of styles, recording processes and effects, Intellectual property and key innovators.
