Then follow these steps:

• keep in touch with your most recent employer. Situations change all the time and if their business starts to pick up they may be in a position to start recruiting.

• Make contact with any local business that relate to your apprenticeship standards and ask if they are taking on apprentices or will they help you to complete your existing apprenticeship.

• Talk to family and friends to see if they know of any business or employer who you can contact.

• Keep an eye on websites advertising apprenticeship vacancies, if you see a vacancy that interests you make contact and ask they would be prepared to take you on.
