There are a number of websites which can be used to find apprenticeship vacancies, the following links contain many opportunities:
The UK Government's Apprenticeship Finder website lists many vacancies but not all, so do use the other buttons to the right.
You can register an account and set up alerts for local vacancies and also specific job sector apprenticeships.
This website provides help and advice on finding apprenticeships and other jobs.
To find vacancies not always advertised on the Government's website use these popular job search websites, use key words such as "apprenticeship" and "trainee".

2) HIDDEN APPRENTICESHIP JOB VACANCIES
Employers may be wanting to hire an apprentice but haven't had time to advertise the vacancy, therefore it's a really good idea to get in contact with as many local businesses as you can.
The first step is to phone or email local businesses you might want to work for and ask if they are interested in on taking you on. To find the contact details of local businesses use www.yell.com
The next step is to speak to friends, family or anyone you know and ask them if they know of anyone in the industry you want to work in. If they do ask if they can approach them on your behalf or introduce them to you and ask if they know of who to talk to about apprenticeship opportunities.
