Compensation

URISE Trainees are paid via a monthly stipend. For 2024-2025, the stipend amount is approximately $1,195.00 between July and May each year while an active Trainee in URISE. In July, Trainees receive two stipends. Details about the July stipends are listed below.

Research Hours and Working at OHSU

What counts toward the requirement of 250 Summer RLC hours and 100 hours in Academic Year?

If in doubt, ask! You are working hard in your RLC, so be sure to report your time accurately and give yourself credit for all that you are doing. Direct questions about RLC hours and eligible activities to Caitlyn Beals (urise@pdx.edu).
