PY 2 Summer

Spring and Summer are all about preparing for your Summer Research Experience (SRE) 2! Many students will apply to and attend SRE programs outside of PSU campus at other universities nation-wide. 

• Accept your Summer Research Experience and prepare your travel authorization with CIMR Travel, and read Guide to SRE. 

• Update your trainee appointments for the next fiscal year at the end of Spring Term

• Attend your Summer Research Experience either away from PSU/OHSU or at OHSU for the Summer

  • You are required to complete 250 hours of research  

• Attend and present at the Summer Undergraduate Research Forum.

Paperwork - Due before Summer Starts!

• Complete the Banweb Information Google Form by 5/17/2024

• Complete the Trainee Agreement for URISE SRE at OHSU (for you AND your RLC Mentor to sign): Due to urise@pdx.edu by June 1, 2024 - You will need this for your meeting with Sarah (See below)

• Meet with Sarah for your Travel Advances for OHSU SRE by June 15, 2024: **Bring your Trainee Agreement. Schedule with Sarah here

• Onboarding Paperwork: We will walk through this at our June Monthly Program Meeting on Fri, June 7th. Due June 15, 2024
