Summer Housing
URISE offers paid housing for summer programming to a limited number of Trainees who meet certain criteria. If approved for on-campus housing, paid housing would cover July 8th to September 29th*. URISE paid housing is tied to your participation in URISE Summer Programming and completion of transfer milestones (if applicable). To request paid summer housing you must complete the URISE Summer Housing Request Form.
*Tentative
URISE Summer Housing Eligibility
In order to be eligible for summer housing, URISE Trainees must demonstrate that:
Commuting to Portland/OHSU for Summer programming presents a hardship that would inhibit full participation in Summer Programming; AND
Housing circumstances are different during Summer and Fall (e.g., Trainees will be living in the PSU dorm starting Fall, will not have transportation until Fall, in the summer you are living in an area with unreliable internet connections but moving to a better service area for Fall, etc.)
This form is to request summer housing only. Trainees are responsible for arranging & paying for their own housing for the academic year through PSU’s Housing and Residence Life office https://www.pdx.edu/housing/contract.
Questions about URISE paid housing for Induction & Immersion should be sent to exitooperations@pdx.edu AND urise@pdx.edu.
