Artist Statement/Bio
Kim is always looking for interesting photo shots, the mere essence of light hovering over the marsh in the sunlight as in her painting “Autumn Breeze”. As-well-as the fall colors and sun light beaming through this quaint American town scenery "Main Street". Kim grew up on a small rural horse farm in central Ohio. After retiring she and her husband moved to Southport, NC November 2017. This is when she developed an instinctual appreciation, passion, and love for the world she lives in. The child artist in her began to express those feelings and ideas on art paper and mat boards. This fulfilled her admiration for her experience with God’s beautiful design. Today, she is still amazed by God’s creation as she continue with expression with a child’s spirit, and lovely pastel vivid colors and marks to bring the world to you.
