Field Trips

Field trips enrich students' educational experience and should be undertaken as needed and only if it enhances student learning. They must be curriculum-relevant with clear objectives. Parents will be informed in advance of all activities that take place outside of the school. By signing the school’s Terms and Conditions, parents consent for the school to take their children on such outings. If they wish to opt-out, parents must inform advisory/subject teachers at least three days in advance and make alternative arrangements for the care of their child. Except for special trips, the cost of field trips is included in the term fee. Because transportation and other field trip logistics must be planned and paid in advance, the school cannot refund fees once they have been paid. The value of field trips as experiential learning should not be underestimated.


The school will provide transportation for all outings and field trips. Our insurance also covers accidents that may occur on such trips.
