An Eagle scout is the peak that every scout aims for

I mean who wouldn't want to be one? Just the name alone brings to mind some kind of prestige. The prestige it brings is probably the least important thing it brings to a scouts reputation though.

Being given this rank is a fast track through many fields of work. The biggest example would have to be the Air Force. As only certain people (Eagle Scouts, Girl Scouts who recieve the Gold reward, and individuals with two years JROTC Training) will be fast racked to the rank of Airman. A full rank above the individuals fellow new recruits.
