Polyamory

non-monogamous

The screencap on the right is from page 79 of A Play Where Nothing Happens. Maura and Jack are discussing Maura's recent confession where she admits to liking Jack. When Jack says "it's all made up anyway", she could be considering the social construct that is monogamy. One could perceive this as Jack being polyamorous.

Polyamory (or consensual nonmonogamy) is the practice of having multiple intimate relationships, whether sexual or just romantic, with the full knowledge and consent of all parties involved. Polyamory is generally not gender-specific; anyone can have multiple partners of any gender.
