Kuvar Bhatnagar(He/Him)

Hi there, my name is Kuvar and I am a Junior here at SUNY Oswego. I am currently a double major in Dramaturgy and Technology Education. Throughout my time at Oswego I have been a dramaturg for many shows - She Kills Monsters, In The Cotton, The Misanthrope, It's A Wonderful Life, Elsewhere, and now A Play Where Nothing Happens. As well as that I have been involved in some virtual theatre work, for plays such as 2xyx, ABS, Ghost Story, TellyHead, and The Fantod Pack. Throughout my career I have won six awards from the annual KCACTF festival for my dramaturgy work.

James Hough (He/Him)

Yo! My name is James Hough and I'm a final semester senior who's looking forward to my last hurrah as a SUNY Oswego Dramaturg. Similar to my fellow 'Turg Kuvar (who I'm MUCH better than) I've been involved with many of the Theatre productions here on campus. Those include: She Kills Monsters, In The Cotton, The Misanthrope, It's A Wonderful Life, A Play Where Nothing Happens and The Wedding Singer. Alongside that, I've won two awards for my Dramaturgy at the annual KCACTF festival.

Chloë Hill (They/Them)

Hello! I'm a junior and a double major in Cinema & Screen Studies and Theatre History & Criticism. I've worked as a dramaturg for the SUNY Oswego productions of In the Cotton, The Misanthrope, It's a Wonderful Life, and Dog Sees God, as well as KCACTF's Collaborative Theatre Challenge of Grenadine. This will be my first in-person play, which I'm super excited to finally experience.

Toby Malone (He/Him/His)

I have been a faculty member at SUNY Oswego since Fall 2017, where I lead the multiple award-winning Theatre History/Criticism/Dramaturgy track. I have worked as a classical and new play dramaturg for over fifteen years, with productions of A Midsummer Night's Dream, The Merry Wives of Windsor, King Lear, and As You Like It (Stratford Festival, Canada); Exit the King, Oh What a Lovely War, Waiting for the Parade, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Home, Endgame, and Death of a Salesman (Soulpepper Theatre, Toronto); Macbeth, Twelfth Night, Romeo and Juliet, King Lear, The Comedy of Errors, Hamlet, The Tempest, and A Midsummer Night's Dream (Driftwood Theatre, Ontario); and as supervising faculty dramaturg, Unity (1918), Rhinoceros, The Importance of Being Earnest, Richard III, Henry the Sixth Part One, and Eurydice (University of Waterloo), and Clybourne Park, Boeing Boeing, Urinetown, Not Someone Like Me, The Shape of Things, The Good Doctor, The Shewing-Up of Blanco Posnet, Fun Home, The Fantasticks, Dead Man's Cell Phone, Kill Shakespeare: the Live Graphic Novel (also director), In the Cotton, The Misanthrope, It's a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play, Dog Sees God: Confessions of a Teenage Blockhead , and Elsewhere (SUNY Oswego Theatre). I am an active member of the Literary Managers and Dramaturgs of the Americas (LMDA), immediate past coordinator of the dramaturgy section for the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival Region 2 (KCACTF2), and am not shy about my ambition to convert everyone into a dramaturg for at least a little while at some point in their theatre careers. Rachel Monson (She/Her/Hers)

Hi everyone! My name's Rachel (she/her), and I'm a junior here at SUNY Oswego. I'm majoring in adolescent education and theatre history and criticism, as well as minoring in English. A Play Where Nothing Happens is the third show I've worked on as a dramaturg here at SUNY Oswego. In the past, I've worked on Elsewhere and Dog Sees God. I'm excited to work on this show and get to know the cast and crew, as well as answer any questions you might have!

Maria Przepiora (They/Them)

Hello, I’m Maria and I am a senior graduating from State University of New York College at Oswego in May 2022. I will be graduating with a BA in English as well as a BA in Theatre. I've worked on other shows at SUNY Oswego such as Dead Mans Cell Phone, Dog Sees God, and mostly recently Elsewhere.

I grew up in Oswego, NY off the shore of Lake Ontario. I currently work at Little Lukes Preschool & Childcare Center as a Substitute Teacher. I spend my free time staying active with family and friends by hiking and enjoying nature centers throughout Upstate NY. I also enjoy painting, crafting, singing and any other artistic project I can get my hands on. When I'm home I give my full attention to my cat, Dewy.

Ryan Ricketts (They/He)

Hello All! I am Ryan and I am a Senior at SUNY Oswego. I am a Political Science major as well as a Theatre major (shocker) and I am beyond glad to contribute to our dramaturgical research! I am a grassroots politician, an award-winning dramaturg, and Team Jacob. I've had the immense honor of working on a handful of productions during my time as an undergrad, but most recently Elsewhere with many of my amazing peers on this very page! I am excited to further the betterment of theatre from a dramaturgical role and help our amazing cast and crew be the best they can be.

Tess Uline (They/Them)

Hello! I'm Tess, and I am a Sophomore Journalism and Theatre student at SUNY Oswego. This is the first show I have worked on in Oswego, and my first time being a dramaturg. I've been in theatre both on-stage and behind the scenes, and I'm really excited to continue doing what I love here at school!
