I have supported CAFOD and other organisations for a long time before joining ONE campaign.  Now, I work part-time for the Birmingham Dioceses Justice and Peace Commission.  This helps me promote ONE to a different audience, and I support through petition writing to help make a difference in the campaigns that are ONE's priorities. In the last few months, I have been involved with the Food Insecurity campaign particularly creating awareness and engaging local members in communities about the East Africa Hunger Crisis. Some of the actions I took in this campaign has been to write my MP, Taiwo Owatemi, Member of Parliament for Coventry North West and engage with her about the need for the UK government to deliver on our asks. 

In addition, I designed a local event to further engage local members around me to take action and participate in the hunger crisis. I am also a part of the Laudato Si Animators group working on environmental issues. 

I am volunteering with ONE because I believe that working with them can make a difference.  I think that they are well organised and understand how to campaign effectively. I think that we have the same values.  

I like swimming, walking and cycling and also like to relax in the garden.
