The Adolf-Weber-Gymnasium München is located in the center of Munich in Bavaria, Germany. Our pupils come from every corner of the city. Currently around 850 are beeing thought by about 90 teachers. The pupils can choose between two focuses. From the 8th grade on either Economics and Social-Studies or Languages can be the main focus of the students. As we are an inclusive school we especially mind the needs of our blind and disabled students. The AWG is engaged in many national and international projects, just like Erasmus+. We hope it stays that way in the future.
Munich is the capital of Bavaria, located in southern Germany, and lies about 50 km north of the edge of the Alps, at the Isar river which flows through the city. It is the largest city in southern Germany, with the population of 1.6 Millon, and is well-known for its outstanding museums and art galleries, like the Pinakothek, Lenbachhaus, Deutsches Museum and Brandhorst. Munich offers various places and activities, combining tradition with modernity: Englischer Garten, universities, traditional shops, restaurants and even more. Of course globally Munich is most famous for the Oktoberfest.
