Koen Crucke

Koen Crucke is a singer, actor and politician. He is 69 years old and born in Ledeberg. He has always been involved with theater and television from an early age and he always looked forward to his music lessons. Koen Crucke married his husband in 2004 and is therefore one of the first known Flemish people to enter into same-sex marriage after it was legalized. He also adopted a son with his husband and he was the first in our country to do an adoption in this context. Koen Crucke has had a major influence on the acceptance of homosexuality in our country. He was therefore one of the first to come out as a well-known Flemish person and that is not easy to do all over Flanders.
