Nathalie Michiels began her career in education as a Spanish and ELL teacher at Cheshire Academy after receiving her BA in International Studies at Middlebury College. There, she found her passion for teaching English as a second language to international students and decided to pursue an MA in TESOL at Teacher’s College at Columbia University. She has been an ELL and English teacher, ELL coordinator, dorm parent, and dance coach. She especially enjoys teaching writing and learning about the world from her students. In her free time, Nathalie loves walking her dog, Sam, practicing yoga, and reading new fiction.
