I knew very early on in my childhood that I wanted to be a PE teacher. My dreams came true when I began teaching at OES in 1986. I feel blessed to spend my days teaching and coaching wonderful students, I pride myself on forming quality connections with them while being a mentor and educator.
In my Physical Education classes the goal for each student is to achieve success, have a positive experience and learn to appreciate, respect and value the importance of lifelong physical exercise.
Coaching tennis is a strong passion of mine and I continue to play competitively in tennis leagues and tournaments. We our so blessed to have an amazing tennis facility; including 3 indoor courts and 4 brand new outdoor courts. Our tennis program has had great success including several District and State championships. Through it all, the program has produced some of the most incredible athletes I have ever worked with. Personally I have been recognized as a State, Regional and National tennis coach. I attribute the programs success and my personal awards to the incredible girls I have had the honor of coaching over the years. Their passion, commitment and integrity in competition has been the basis for the excellence achieved each season.
I am very excited about my new role as the Senior Grade Dean. I look forward to working with a team of educators in providing better support for our students.
