After receiving my Undergraduate degree from Pacific University in Music Education and Vocal Performance, I started my teaching career at a public middle school in Gresham, Oregon. After two years I came to OES and have been here since 1995! I have taught music in all three divisions, was a dorm parent for thirteen years, had a year off to complete my Masters of Music in Conducting from Portland State University and am excited to share the joy of music-making with my students.

When I'm not teaching, you can find me performing, recording and touring with classical music ensembles as well as a blues band. I play video games, board games, golf and also write pop music and scores for short films. My three best happy places, however, are cooking, being in nature and being with my family.
