BA in Mathematics, Minor in Spanish at Linfield College. Also studied Education at Linfield College doing Student Teaching at McMinnville High School and Amity High School.

Started teaching at OES in 2004-2005 school year.

Has played drums for local Portland bands in the past.

Has participated in the 3 Day Novel contest, but still haven't won anything other than the satisfaction of finishing a novella in three days.

Loves playing modern board games and volunteers at IMOGAP, the Interactive Museum of Games and Puzzlery.
