Since 2005, Kathryn has been working at Catlin Gabel School teaching math and science, and leading curriculum development initiatives. She is currently tutoring Catlin students in order to be able to spend more time with her three children and her partner, who is also a teacher. Originally from Oahu, she moved to Portland to attend Lewis & Clark College, where she earned a BA in biochemistry in 2003. Her passions include traveling with her family, hiking, camping, rock climbing, and surfing.
