Les centres d’activités de l’Halloween

Here's just one example of our French program in action:

Just before Halloween students in grades 5 and 6 worked in small groups and rotated through six different french activity centres including vocabulary building, reading comprehension, creative writing, arts/crafts and math.

Some were activities where students worked collaboratively. One centre was working with the teacher to provide an opportunity to assess the student’s learning. Students had a chance to use the thematic vocabulary in different ways throughout the rotation of activities.

Participants shared their excitement for this great hands-on activity – “Are we doing centres again today? I love the centres!”
