DRA PM Passages
It is important that our students have access to texts they can read independently. Attached is a folder with all of the DRA PM passages. These are helpful to use when determining a student's independent reading level. Any student needing Level A/1, B2, or C3 needs the benchmark assessment. All benchmark assessments can be found in Room 108 by my desk in the teal filing cabinet. You are free to help yourself.
If you or your grade level would like to schedule a meeting with me to unpack your first Unit of Science, please do not hesitate to contact me to schedule a time.
I will be coming around during scheduled science blocks to gauge student readiness.
Grade 3- 5 Teachers, please note that I have placed supplies in your mailboxes to support the launch of Science notebooking for your students.
Science Notebook Rubric
Science and Engineering Practices
Cross-Cutting Concepts
Students can glue these directly into their notebooks, and they should be referenced during Science instruction.
InnerOrbits
Grade 3-5 Teachers, please take the time to jump on InnerOrbits in your classlink. It only takes a moment to make your roster. We will be using this in grades 3-5 for some formative and summative assessments. If you need help, just ask!
