" Student attendance has a direct and substantial correlation with academic achievement and overall growth in school. Regardless of whether the absence is excused or unexcused, it still counts as an absence. After 10 total absences, students are considered chronically absent."
Please print out the Running Man Reports. At this time, we are not able to distribute these reports via Parent Square.
On the Amplify platform , select mClass. On the next screen, select English Classroom Reporting and then Home Connect.

Student, Teacher and Parent PRINT Compacts have been placed into your mailboxes.
Please talk about them during an SEL lesson as another way to model/teach responsibility. Have your students sign them and you as well.
Please have parents sign at Conference Meeting. It is your choice whether you send them home or hold on to them. Teacher preference! If you want them to refer back to during a conversation with a parent, then hold on to them!
Please dont forget to complete your Character Education Progress Reports - after all that work of clearning and re-setting them ;)
I have been pushing into classrooms doing SEL lessons - please let me know if you would like to plan a series and facilitate together!
