MAY DRILL-EVACUATE/FIRE DRILL 5/22/24

TIME 2:35 (K teachers meet students at their Special and Evacuate from there)

• 2023 District Safety Slides Lockdown-Slides 45-51. The video for students is on Slide 51

• All specialist teachers, MLL, SPED, Improvement teachers, SEL, WIN groups... practice drills with your groups of students so that in the event of a real emergency or drill during your time-students will know what to do

• Our K-3 students showed great improvement on their End of Year DIBELS testing.

• We reduced our Summer Academy numbers by almost 30 students!!

• Amazing job teachers!!!!

• Final student rosters for Summer Academy will be sent to us from the district next week

• Verbiage to assist in writing End-of-Year Self-Assessment

• MLL Teachers, SPED teachers, Coaches, and Improvement teachers meet with Mrs. Espinoza to schedule an EOY meeting with Cherie or Lindsay for Monday 5/13, or Tuesday 5/14

SBAC Schedule: SBAC 2024

• Teachers it is very important that you are walking around the classroom monitoring students during testing

• On May 13, the last DESSA window will open for elementary staff to rate their students. 

• The rating window will close on June 3  

• Classroom teachers will have the staff meeting time on Monday, May 13 to complete DESSA

• 5/13 Cub Connection

• 5/23 Grinnell Community Meeting
