November Drills
Evacuate (relocate to St. Philip church) 11/17/23
Lockdown 11/21/23
Please practice these drills with your students and have them become familiar with the language
2023 District Safety Slides Slides 30 and 51 have videos of these drills for you to share with your students
All specialist teachers, MLL, SPED, Improvement teachers, SEL, WIN groups... practice drills with your groups of students so that in the event of a real emergency or drill during your time-students will know what to do
On Tuesday 10/31 we will have our Tracey Storybook Character Parade
At 2:30 Ms. Esposito and Ms. Duque will start the parade at room 110, we will continue down the Kindergarten hallways with each class lining up behind each other. We then will walk down the first grade hallway, up staircase 1 down the 2nd/3rd grade hallway. We will finish down the 4th and 5th grade hallways. As the parade passes your room, have your students line up behind the last class that walks by.
The whole school will walk down staircase 3 and out the recess doors
The whole school parade will walk one lap around the field. (out recess doors, pass the playscape, pass the swings around the perimeter of the field, pass the pink containers and back to the playscape. Once room 110 makes it around the field once and back in front of the playscape... we will stop so families can take pictures (chairs will be set up in the middle of the field for families)
At the end of picture taking, parents can sign students out
Each classroom teacher needs to print this sheet and take it with them to the parade and return to the main office after dismissal Sign Out Sheet 10/31/23
All remaining students will head inside and all staff will support regular dismissal as usual with remaining students.
