Staff, please be mindful of your dismissal duties:
Do not send students to their dismissal location without an adult
Be on time to your dismissal location
Actively monitor the students in your dismissal location (adult conversations should not interfere with actively monitoring student behavior during dismissal time)
****Make sure to clearly add your dismissal duties to your sub plans*****
General Education Teachers and Nurses will all have access to view the IEP at a Glance for every child with an IEP through PowerSchool.
By clicking on the CT SEDS Icon (shape of the State,) the document will appear. Jean Starkman is providing access to everyone by hand so if a member of your team indicates that their access is denied, let them know it will be available soon.

12/21 Mrs. Hall's class - Holidays/Winter Celebrations around the world
Here Is my yearly seasonal/holiday gentle reminder. Behaviors in our students at Tracey and across the world are at an all time high. Emotional regulation is on the decline, anxiousness, confidence in self/skills and high levels of emotionality are on the rise. This is WITHOUT the stress, fear, chaos, unkown of the holidays. It can also bring excitement, butterflies and a feeling of "get me out of here for a bit." These are not excuses just gentle reminders, we all feel these feelings. Please do not hesitate to reach out If you would like to co-facilitate some SEL lessons, have restorative circles or just have a "back up" voice for what our expectations are and what potential strategies can be for this lead up to the holiday season. I hope it brings all of you, whatever it is you need or desire. ...Much love <3 Penta
