Evacuate/Fire Drill: December 19th 9:40
Practice these drills with your students and have them become familiar with the language
2023 District Safety Slides Slide 30 has videos of this drill
All specialist teachers, MLL, SPED, Improvement teachers, SEL, WIN groups... practice drills with your groups of students so that in the event of a real emergency or drill during your time-students will know what to do

(You can use this week for new routines, relationship building, learning the group's instructional focus)
All certified staff are expected to have backup "Plan B" Win plans for absences or coverage issues
All non-certified staff will receive a "Plan B" from Shelley
Please make sure these are either given to your students or put in a location that your students are aware of in your absence

Please remember that students should have a Plan B from their assigned WIN teacher to complete if WIN groups are going to be canceled.
Progress Monitoring
You will find a copy of the data meeting decision report with the students who need progress monitoring in your mailbox based on our Continuum meeting. We need 3 data points completed for the measures that need to be progress monitored bi-weekly. Remember, the CORE phonics survey only needs to be done once before our next meeting. Pacing
Kindergarten - Is currently wrapping up their Unit and getting ready to move into Unit 2 - Waiting For Weather.
First Grade - Currently wrapping up its Unit 1 on Play Ground Shadows and should be ready to start Unit 2, Film Animation.
Second Grade - Just finished their Unit on the 4th Little pIg (Matter) and will begin Unit 2, Koa Tree, after the Holiday break.
Third Grade- Should give the Summative Assessment for Unit 1 Playground Engineers on Inner Orbits before the break. Please make sure to review the content before providing the Summative. Once the Summative is complete, 3rd Grade will move into Unit 2 Harper's Fossils Find.
Fourth Grade - Should be wrapping up Unit 1 National Parks, and once complete, administer the Summative Assessment for the Unit on Inner Orbits. 4th Grade will move into Unit 2, Mimicking The Natural World.
Fifth Grade - 5th Grade should be wrapping up their Unit 1 Spectacular Sights in the Sky and administer the Summative Assessment on Inner Orbits. Student can work on their Narration in a partnership with Communications. In the new year, grade 5 should be ready to move into Unit 2, Golden Jellies!
