opportunities for current 8th graders
The Eaton Eagle Color Guard is a fantastic opportunity to learn a new skill, perform at Football Games alongside the Pride of Eaton Marching Band, push yourself academically, and earn both a PE and a Fine Arts credit! No experience is necessary, and anyone can join! We will teach you everything you would need to know about how to spin flags, rifles, and sabres.
Check out this short video highlighting some of what we do, and feel free to sign up if you are interested!

Last week of Voting
Early Voting for the May 1 general and special elections begins Monday, April 19. Please take advantage of the opportunity to vote early.
Early Voting locations and times for each of our three counties can be found at www.nisdtxbond.org/voting-info.
Voters have four bond propositions on the ballot as part of our bond proposal to provide nearly 5,000 additional seats for new students to help accommodate the fast growth in Northwest ISD.
For Wilson MS Families, the bond proposal includes
updates of cell phone technology to allow broader coverage in all parts of the building, including the gymnasiums
resurfacing of the tennis courts (open for community use)
updates to specific classrooms to allow for lab space for Career and Technical Education (Project Lead the Way)
technology refresh for students and teacher devices that are beyond years of recommended use
potential impact of Middle School #7 on Wilson student enrollment (currently at 958 and expected to be approximately 1370 students by 2023/2024 school year)
enrolling for NEXT school year
Online enrollment for all students – both returning and new to Northwest ISD – for the 2021-22 school year will open April 19 at www.nisdtx.org/enrollment, though families of returning students can wait for emails to re-enroll their children. Transfer requests are also open through May 17th at https://www.nisdtx.org/parents/student_transfers.
