Week ending
Friday 19th January, 2024
Dear Families,
What a cold week it's been! And perfect for teaching our children all about arctic animals, igloos and Inuit people as we continue our topic, Winter. Our curious question, 'What is cold?' has led to some lovely conversations and use of key vocab. We ended the week with an experiment: What will melt the ice first - salt, sugar or sand? Easy to replcate at home and lots of fun!
We have been learning the number 5 and we are so impressed by the children's' knowledge of numbers.
It was wonderful having some of you coming into Nursery to share the children's learning with them on Tuesday for Come Learn with Me! The children had great fun! Thank-you for coming! Please join us for our next Reading Family Friday on 26th January.
Wishing you a wonderful weekend.
Best wishes,
The Nursery Team
