At the top of your About page, I want you to write, in quotes, a statement you would make to parents and 5th grade students promoting the DATA program. This would be something we could record in the studio and use in recruiting, even if YOU don't want to be the one in front of the camera. Make it prominent, with a larger, different font (not too big, though), use color to highlight it in a subtle way, etc. As I review your Portfolios and the About page in particular I will be selecting students to record for the "In Their Own Words" video we put in the recruiting presentation.
Don't forget you can also access any files you have turned in to Google Classroom from anywhere, including a Chromebook.
Resize and reposition all media to look their best.
Add more descriptions/explanations and review all sentences for grammar and legibility.
(Font choice, font size, color, position, etc)
Add links to all software and anything else you can think of. You can start with ones I provide you on the Reference page.
Review the My Favorite Things, Vector Graphics and About pages and improve those as well.
You may examine 2023 portfolios for ideas - do not just copy from them!
This is what you need to prevent - The video to the left looks just fine on my computer, but since I (deliberately) didn't add it from my PORTFOLIO FILES - DO NOT DELETE shared folder, you can't watch it! Awful, isn't it. 😩
