Designing vector artwork is a very different experience from editing photos with programs like Photoshop. If you've done any work with Google Drawings, it has given you a good, solid introduction to this creative method; now we'll start familiarizing ourselves with the professional design software Adobe Illustrator.

These are the Monsters that you will probably find on the upcoming poster. The ones in the slideshow that are cut off will be removed from the slideshow - the Use Artboard checkbox when exporting has been emphasized many, many times and is the method for making sure it would have fit!
Click to see some of the student animations that are a good size, length and that loop nicely. There are many more great monsters! This is a random sampling on a page that doesn't take too long to load, I hope.
Use of Vector Artwork in Animation
We never know what we'll end up doing with our designs when we pair them with Adobe After Effects to add movement and depth to a video composition. Below are a couple of examples from the past that combine work from many different students. Let's see what we come up with this year!
