Runkle School Maps

These are maps available for use by educators.

The orienteering map was made with a grant from Orienteering USA, who retains the copyright. Brookline Education Foundation also funded the map as part of the Driscoll School orienteering grant in Spring 2023.

Base Map (NG version)

Courses

Score-O (younger grades); control-hanging map. This course stays in the northeast area of the school, and does not go around to the southwest area. The controls are labeled A through J. The answers can be inferred by relating the Score-O map to the control-hanging map. Note that these are the same checkpoints as will be used in the race maps!
Poison Score-O (older grades): Map 1, Map 2, Map 3, Map 4, All-Controls map, orienteering course (extra activity). This uses the full campus.
Race maps: animal-named maps in this folder. SPORTIdent information: the courses are the same number order as the Animal-O/Geometric-O courses.
