- More deliberate outreach to make the new Library connect to the broader community (both on and off campus)
- Library can be central in supporting undergraduate research, such as in providing the tools that helps facilitate success in this area
- Need a robust Information Technology strastegy that is flexible and provides required support to underpin quality in academic-related activities (e.g, we presently do not have adequate IT to provide for quality blended learning)
- Open Educational Resources -- to properly support it, we need adequate resources and properly trained people
- Need appropriate assessments of our initiatives to judge level of success. Also assessment questions that matter.
- Need an enrollment strategy that attracts a greater diversity of students
- Need to make SoTL part of base funding (currently as an Institute, it is supposed to be self-funding)
- Need more and different evaluations of teaching; as a teaching-focused institution, we have inadequate number of courses evaluated by students
- Need an Indigenization plan that is not tokenism
