- Need sustainable approach. Larger 1st year classes are OK to support smaller senior level
- Need more courses for students to choose from. Paucity of choice drives many away
- Should develop more minors as they identify important areas of concentration in a degree
- Need to work on reputation, and, besides teaching and research, service to the community can play a large role here
- Badly need a foundation GNED course on Computing and Society. Too few students understand the multi-faceted dimensions and implications of technology, such as with respect to privacy
- Students should be expected to take courses in both Arts and Sciences -- Arts students should take a math course
