On this weeks segment of Teacher Life interviews we are interviewing Mr. Dearborn and learning a lot about him! He is both a history teacher at Moorpark High School and now the Football Head Coach. 

1. What is your favorite thing about being a teacher at MHS?

“Seeing the growth and developments of student athletes that I support”

2. What is your favorite thing about being a coach at MHS?

“The relationships I build and the connections I get to make. Seeing the grgess they make as both athletes but also as young men and women”

3. What are some things you enjoy doing outside of school? 

“Camping and backpacking. I love the outdoors, being unplugged and physically challenging myself”

4. What's one of your favorite memories from being at MHS?

“Beating Newbury Park and celebrating with our players as the student section stormed the field”

5. What is something fun that people don’t know about you?

“I grew up learning how to play the Piano and I am a better golfer than Chappy”
