The Winter Rally

On December 6th, Moorpark had its Winter Rally put on by ASB. The rally theme was “Winter in New York”, with ideas based on Elf and Home Alone. ASB spends months planning rallies, and this one was a huge success! There were performances from Moorpark High´s cheer team, dance team, marching band, and staff including Mr. Burns, Mr. Kilbane, and Mr. Garcia. Boys soccer and football did the Mean Girl’s dance with Mr. Bodjanac as the star in a dance remix based on the mailroom scene in Elf. Keegan and Cat, our MCs for this rally, introduced our winter sports. After they were welcomed a girl and boy representative from each team played a candy cane drop game. Girls soccer came out on top. Our rally ended with a wrestling scene with “fake Santa and Buddy” from Elf, played by Mr. Burns and Brett Williamson. The rally was super entertaining and kicked off the countdown until Winter Break!
