Fall Parties and Parade
Tuesday, October 31
Reagan will host a school parade on Tuesday, October 31st, beginning at 2:15 p.m. ALL parents and guardians are invited to view the parade from the exterior front entrance area and blacktop or the gyms if there is inclement weather!
Parent volunteers will host a party for students in their classrooms immediately following the parade. Only designated adults assisting with the party activities will be permitted in the classrooms. Volunteers must be pre-registered with the office via the Sign Up Genius to attend the party. A maximum of five volunteers per classroom will plan, attend, and run the classroom party. For more information on volunteering and to sign up for a classroom, please view the Sign Up Genius.
Details specific to the Fall Celebration:
We will start checking in parent party volunteers in the office at 1:45 p.m.
The parade will begin at 2:15 p.m. and travel in an outdoor pre-planned route on the blacktop area in the southwest corner of the school.
Costume Must-Knows:
Children are not to wear costumes to school; they may change independently before the start of the parade.
Consider forgoing costume accessories that can be easily lost or forgotten at school. We would hate for your child to forget to bring something back home and be unable to wear it later that evening.
Costumes must not be offensive to others; the audience is 5-12-year-olds.
No weapons or weapon look-a-likes.
No spraying of hair or makeup is to be applied at school.
Students are not required to wear costumes.
In addition, students may be excused from the celebration and parents may check out the student from the office at 2:10 p.m. if they wish.
Thank you for your attention to these procedures to make our Fall Celebration a success! Please contact Julie Milks at julieamilks@gmail.com with any questions.
