First Days of School Reminders

First Day of School (K-5) - Thursday, August 10

SCHOOL HOURS: 8:30-3:30 - Mon, Tues, Th, Fri

8:30-2:30 - Wednesdays

First Day Only  Arrival Window: 8:10-8:30

Teachers will meet their students outside at 8:10.

See the image for where you can approximately meet your child's teacher. Please plan to say your goodbyes in the car or at the entrance; we will not be screening guests for entry into the building as our focus will be on the students. 

If you need to drop off medication, you will be guided into the health room.  

How Will Your Child Get Home?

Please plan with your child ahead of time. It can be stressful for students when they do not know how they are getting home. After-school plans should be set with your child before the school day starts to alleviate interruptions in the classroom during instruction.

Safety is always the most important- it's our #1 rule! We take special care during peak times in the morning and afternoon to ensure everyone's safety. The first few days back at school are always a little more hectic. We will have a lot of staff members outside to assist with traffic flow and safety. We appreciate your patience, cooperation, and respect in advance. Please follow the listed safety guidelines whenever children are dropped off or picked up at school.

Observe all posted signage related to traffic.

Always remain in your car when dropping off/picking up your child(ren) along the curbs. Staff members will be available to assist your children in exiting or entering a vehicle.

Children should exit/enter cars through the curbside door only.

Please observe arrival and dismissal times. 

Having your child at school on time is important, as classes start promptly at 8:30. 

Dismissal time is also essential as staff members have additional responsibilities at the end of each school day. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday dismissal is at 3:30, and Wednesdays, we dismiss at 2:30.

Students will be recognized on the large TV monitor at the entrance of our building as an additional celebration! 

Birthday Treats at Reagan

In order to help ensure student health and safety, we will follow district policy when it comes to outside food. All food brought into the District for classroom use (i.e. parties, birthdays, general treats, etc.) must be store-bought, unopened, and include an ingredient label on the package. 

Please double-check before purchasing any treats to ensure that the organization will provide an ingredient label.

There are a couple of ways that you can deposit money into your child's lunch account:

Be sure to include your child's name and "Lunch Money" in the memo of your check.

We are excited to have parents/guardians join us for lunch this school year after Labor Day! 

Thank you in advance for your cooperation on this so that we can allow students to practice lunch routines with their classmates at the beginning of the year.
