A Message from Mrs. Wunderlich & Reagan Staff

Reagan families,

We have a busy week ahead of us at Reagan, and we are looking forward to showcasing a lot of talent from our kiddos! Be sure to join us for the Show What You Know Fair and Book Fair on Tuesday night from 5:30-7:00.

Then, on Thursday night, our Finding Nemo cast will perform our musical for this year! Our 4th and 5th-grade students have been practicing for the Disney Musical: Finding Nemo all school year. We are so proud of all the time, energy, and effort they have put into this show, and we cannot wait to see the performance! All students will be able to see the performance during the school day on Wednesday, and then we will be offering two showings in the evening on Thursday to allow families and friends to join us. Stay tuned for pictures shared on social media and in the newsletter next week if you cannot make it in person!

The window to sign-up for conferences opened Monday, February 19th.  Please utilize this document to sign-up for your child's conferences.  Conferences will take place on March 11th and 12th from 4:15-8:15 p.m.

Enjoy the weekend with your loved ones,

Mrs. Wunderlich

Informative Meeting Information

Staff Member of the Week

Congratulations to Katie Hraban!

See below for all of the wonderful things colleagues have to say about her!

Thanks for your expertise, humor, and for supporting our kiddos when you are here!

Thank you so much for letting the Disney Team use part of your office to store Disney Props during the last two weeks before our performance!  It has saved us so many steps during our rehearsals!

Katie, you have an incredible way of partnering with teachers and supporting student needs.  I appreciate your attention to detail and kindness.

Thank you for always being a listening ear.  I appreciate you and your wealth of knowledge.

Katie goes above and beyond to support students and staff at Reagan.  She is always doing this with a smile on her face.  I am so thankful for her and her expertise.

2024-25 Class List Input Optional Meetings with Mrs. Wunderlich

The Reagan staff will begin the process of designing class lists for the 2024-25 school year in March. Historically there have been a significant amount of teacher requests from parents each year, so I thought it would be helpful to reiterate how class lists have been and will continue to be created.

Our main goal is to provide positive experiences for all students! We strive to create balanced classrooms with regard to personalities, abilities, needs, learning styles, peer relations, and gender balance. Staff work to place students in a learning environment that best meets their needs. Each child is considered individually by members of the following teams: Teachers who currently work within the grade level, HAL, Special Education, Speech Language Pathologist, Administration, Interventionists, and the School Counselor.

We recognize that you value your child's education and can offer valuable insight about them. If you would like to have input into your child’s placement for next year, please schedule a 15-minute appointment with me in the month of February. During this meeting, I will ask for you to share input about your child’s learning style, strengths, and areas of needed improvement. This input will be considered when Reagan teams make placement decisions and begin grouping students. Requests for a specific teacher will not be considered as we are in the hiring season, and staffing at each grade level is still being determined.

To make an appointment, please call 402-715-7100, and Mrs. McCauley will assist you with scheduling a meeting. Input will not be considered after March 1st as we begin making placement decisions at that time.

Thank you for your trust and support.

Mrs. Brittany Wunderlich

The need for blood is constant and only volunteer donors can fulfill that need for patients in our community. Nationwide, someone needs a unit of blood every 2 to 3 seconds and most of us will need blood in our lifetime.

Thank you for supporting the American Red Cross blood program!

Download the Red Cross Blood Donor App on the App Store, Google Play or text BLOODAPP to 90999. Schedule appointments, view your blood type and results of your mini-physical, and track your donations.
