We have been looking forward to sharing the news that in the upcoming 2024-2025 school year, Reagan will be welcoming a new addition to our school – the Structured Behavior Skills (SBS) program. This program is designed to provide valuable support for students facing challenges in the area of behavior.

Situated in two dedicated rooms on the lower level of the building, the SBS program will aim to create a positive and nurturing environment for students who may benefit from more intensive support and services. We believe this addition will further enrich our school community and provide opportunities for growth and success for all students.

As we gear up for the new school year, we will be introducing the talented staff who will be part of the SBS program in our summer newsletter. It's a great chance for you to familiarize yourself with their faces and welcome them to our Reagan family.

Curious about what the Structured Behavior Skills program entails? Check out the program description available on the Millard Public Schools website. The key features of this placement include social skills instruction and frequent opportunities for students to participate with their general education peers at the assigned building. The SBS teachers initially provide the general education curriculum in a small group setting, and students continue to have access to additional layers of support to meet their instructional needs. Placement in the Structured Behavior Skills program is determined by Individualized Education Program (IEP) teams based on a child's unique needs and response to multi-tiered systems of support within their home school.

Again, we are excited about the positive impact this program will have on our school and the students it serves. Let's come together as a community to embrace this new addition and ensure every child feels supported and valued at Reagan.

February 1st - Kindergarten and New Student Online Registration Opens

April 26th - Kindergarten Round Up 9:00-12:00 (Exact Time TBD)

★ Your child will be assigned to a group for Round Up only. Teacher assignments for 2023-2024 will be determined at a later date.

★ Submission of Online Registration will be required for attendance at Kindergarten RoundUp. (If you don’t have all the required documentation available yet, submission of registration is still required. example: Kindergarten Physical)
