Parent Teacher Conferences
Cottonwood’s Conferences will be held on:
Monday, October 10h 4:15-8:15 pm
Tuesday, October 11th 4:15-8:15 pm
Wednesday, October 12th 8:00 - 12
There will be no school for students on Wednesday, October 12th through Friday, October 14th.
Suspicious Activity Near our School
I wanted to make you aware of some suspicious activity that occurred at the playground after school hours. This week there was an adult male who was acting strangely near our school/playground. Police were called to investigated but found nothing.
This is a good reminder to talk to our students about stranger danger. I know that many of our students like to play in the park and on the playground area after school. We ask that our students do not play on the playground after school hours without parent supervision for reasons such as what was described above and in case a student were to get hurt and there would be no one there to assist him/her. Thanks for your help in keeping our students safe.

Remember that our book fair does charge sales tax on all purchases. We accept cash, checks (payable to Cottonwood) and credit cards.

The window to sign up for conferences through our Synergy system has closed, but you can still sign up for a conference by calling our office at 402-715-1390 and we would be happy to schedule a conference for you.

The grace period for the Free and Reduced lunch program expires on 9/21/22. If you have not filled out a NEW application for the 22-23 school year before 9/20, your students meal prices will go back to paid on 9/21. Please reach out to the food service office if you are unsure of your application status at 402-715-1440. Parent Pride:
A Parent Volunteer Group
The Parent Pride, a parent volunteer group, is an integral part of the Cottonwood community. Each year this group of volunteers help to organize and fund raise for the events and activities that take place at Cottonwood. There are no membership dues so we depend on donations or participation of our fund-raising events. We hope that you will consider volunteering your time to support one of these events.
