Cottonwood Families,
Parent Teacher Conferences
Believe it or not, Parent/Teacher Conferences are in a few weeks. This is a time when you meet directly with your child’s teacher and discuss his/her progress. Our conferences have been very well attended and we are hoping to continue this tradition. Mark your calendars for these dates.
You may sign up for a conference time using our Synergy System. Detailed directions can be found in our newsletter. We ask that families schedule one conference per family. If you have any questions, please call our office for assistance.
Cottonwood’s Conferences will be held on:
Monday, October 9th & 10th: 4:15-8:15 pm
Monday, October 16th: 1:00-4:00 pm
Mr. Breiter (Band)- will be available for conferences Mon. Oct 9 from 4:15-6:00
There will be no school for students October 12th-16th.

Walk A Thon
Thank you so very much!
It was fantastic to see all the families who came to the Walk A Thon to support Cottonwood! We have the best community. We are still counting the donations and will share the results next week. We were excited to have the West YMCA and Millard North Dance Team to support us. Thank you from the Cottonwood Staff for all your support. A special thank you to Lindsay Peterson and Karly Barada for organizing the event. We appreciate the parents who volunteered to help this be a success! A special thank you to Kala Stroh and Kellie Hayworth for getting donations from Coca-Cola and Rotella's Italian Bakery for food donations.
Thank you to Mama's Pizza for their generous cash donation to our Walk A Thon!

It's BOOK FAIR time!! Come and shop for some new books and support our school!
The Book Fair will be open for in person shopping:
-Thursday, October 5th, from 3:45-4:45
-Friday, October 6th, from 3:45-4:45
-Monday, October 9th, from 4:00-7:30
-Tuesday, October 10th, from 4:00-7:30
-Wednesday, October 11th, from 2:30-4:00

PE
On Thursday, October 5th and Friday, October 6th Cottonwood third, fourth, and fifth grade students will participate in the Pacer Test. The following Physical Education class the same Cottonwood students will complete the push up and curl up tests. If you have any questions please reach out to Mr. Reck (asreck@mpsomaha.org).
