Cottonwood Families,
Fall Parties and Parade
Thanks so much for taking time out of your busy day to join us for our parade or to assist with the classroom parties. It is fun to see the creative costumes that our students create. They are always so proud to share. Many thanks to all the volunteers who dedicated their time to host a fun afternoon for our students!
Thank you to all

Health Room
Cottonwood Elementary School will be performing non-diagnostic health screens to students in grades 1 through 4 in accordance with the Nebraska State Statute, #173 NAC 7. The purpose of the screening is to identify any possible health concerns and provide feedback to the student’s parents/guardians for follow-up. The screenings measure the following: height, hearing, vision, weight, and dental health. These screenings will start taking place in November 2023. If you do not wish for your child to be screened, please contact Cottonwood Elementary School at 402-715-1391 or email your school healthcare provider, Roxie Znamenacek, RN at rlznamenacek@mpsomaha.org
If any student’s screening reveals a concern, the parent/guardians will be notified within 30 days.
