Cottonwood Families,

Staff Appreciation Week

We are so fortunate to have a talented and dedicated staff here at Cottonwood! Our classroom teachers, specialists, support staff, cooks, and custodial staff work hard every day to ensure our school is a safe, clean and positive environment to learn. Next week, we will celebrate Staff Appreciation Week. The Parent Pride has organized several activities throughout the week to show their gratitude for all they do. Please consider taking a moment to share with a staff member how much you appreciate their efforts.

NEWS ABOUT 156th STREET Construction

As many of you are aware, the widening project for 156th will begin on March 6th.  Please know that 156th Street will be closed from Howard Street to Pacific Street for the remainder of the school year.    You may have to consider a different route as you come to school.

If you have a Kiewit student you will definitely need to read the correspondence from the school to see how this will impact your middle schooler.

I am also including a link  to Keep Omaha Moving which gives more details about the widening project and keeps you up to date regarding future closures.
