Here at the Temasek Junior College Modern Dance Club (TJMDC), our students are free to explore and grow their potential as dancers. We have a varied dance curriculum led by professional instructors that train our dancers to strengthen their bodies and technical skills in various genres.
Beyond sharpening their technical competency, we also give TJMDC dancers multiple opportunities to explore choreography through various school performances. Our biennial concert, Reverie, is a great chance for our dancers to display their creativity and leadership skills, as they choreograph and put together the entire concert themselves! A highlight for the Club, Reverie is a reflection of the diverse range of genres that the dancers explore as part of their dance journey in TJMDC.

This spirit of excellence undergirds the Club’s growth and continually inspires our dancers to push to greater heights.
At its core, TJMDC’s strength comes from its passionate and tight-knit dancer community, and its supportive and caring instructors and tutors. We believe that through dance, our students can emerge to become resilient, empathetic and creative individuals with a strong sense of team spirit.
TJMDC has training on Mondays and Fridays from 5pm-7:30pm, with additional practices during competition and concert season.
