PLC in Damai Secondary School takes on a whole school approach to enhance student learning through teacher collaboration and on-going professional learning. The key objectives for establishing PLC in the school is to improve teachers’ instructional practices and to the promote the joy of learning amongst the students. The various PLTs in the school also help build a teacher-initiated culture of collaboration, where teachers collectively strengthen their professional practice, thereby foster a stronger sense of professionalism, commitment and collegiality amongst the Damai teachers.
