Midlothian Young Carers

A young carer is anyone who cares, unpaid, for a friend or family member who due to illness, disability, mental health problems or an addiction cannot cope without their support. If you are caring for someone at home, Young Carers Scotland might be able to help.

The Midlothian Young Carers Team will be working from home and doing one to one support as and when required. Daisy and Debbie, the key workers, will do their best to respond to young people as soon as possible and within working hours.

The previous lunchtime drop ins available to Young Carers is moving online. This will take place on Wednesdays from 4-4:30pm on Zoom, starting on the 3rd of March. The zoom link will be sent separately each week.

If you would like to be involved please email Mrs Wilkins on S.Wilkins@mgfl.net who will be able to send you the appropriate forms and give you more information.
